What's a photo blog without photos?

So gang, like many bloggers out there, my life is it's own form of barely controlled chaos. I'm overwhelmed with all the many opportunities in my life. After about a month of computer technology headaches I've resumed blogging. I've happened upon an opportunity to make extra money, and I don't mean just a little money. I mean the kind of money that you quit your day job for. Maybe not right away, but on the horizon in 2-5 years I could be independently wealthy. And it's not exclusive, I could take all of my readers with me. So I ask myself, what is the big hold up? Grab the brass ring and go for it. I bump smack dab into the boundaries of my comfort zone. My belief system never allowed me to expect wealth, much less dream of it. We are afterall the sum of our own beliefs. The very foundation upon which I have based many of my life goals and daily decisions is being challenged. So I guess my question is if you had the opportunity to get into a mlm on the ground level in a stable company that you believed in, would you do it? If so, where does your courage come from and if not, what is preventing you? I know the outcome if I do nothing, it's the unknown if I do something that has me thoughtful today.

The real resolutions for 2011

After careful consideration I have come up with 5 things to improve my life this year. 1) Find the joy again. So many fun things have become chores. I want them to be fun again. A little bit less planning and more serendipity. 2) Find my balance. And I don't mean my checking book balance but that place in your life where you feel centered and comfortable. Things aren't perfect but nothing is in total chaos either. 3) Eat less, enough said. 4) Move more, goes with number 3. and 5)Thank people more. Kind of goes with Salt Lake City's mayors plan to teach civility. I'm part of a great home business that allows me to send cards from home. I have access to this amazing card catalog and I can use a font created to match my handwriting and use my actual signature. It just makes it so fun and so easy. I think of someone I want to share a message with and seconds later, it's addressed, stamped and waiting to be mailed. It's great! You can check it out by going to www.SOCretail.com/LisaPaskins. It really is a blessing in my life. Happy New Year one and all. May all of your lives be abundantly blessed.

My 2011 resolutions....

As this is my first post of 2011 I thought it fitting to include my resolutions. Like many other people my resolutions this year are very similiar to resolutions I have selected in past years. Not because I failed in years past but because I was so successful, and I want to focus on succeeding again this year. Therefore, I resolve to gain 5 pounds. (Truthfully, I'm usually an overachiever in this area.) I resolve to say something I regret each day. (Thank heavens I have understanding friends. I think it's just an occupational hazzard when your mouth is faster than your brain and you gave up filtering your thoughts at the age of forty.) And I resolve to be more comfortable with using the word "no". That covers it, don't be shy, post your resolutions in the comment section and go out and make a memory today.
